March 11th-17th, 2007 MYRTLE BEACH, SC - 5 DAY COLLAGE INTENSIVE: COLLAGE TECHNIQUES & CREATIVE EXPLORATION / As part of the 2nd session of the spring 2007 Springmaid Watermedia Workshops program, I will be presenting a five-day workshop. Participants in six simultaneous workshops in a variety of media dine, socialize, and learn from one another at the luxurious oceanfront Springmaid Beach Resort. During this workshop we will create an intentional artistic community in which we will all learn from one another. As we explore composition and refine our personal visual vocabularies we will reflect on past successes and failures, revise our individual goals, and make concrete and specific plans for future projects. ///// Together we will discover new perspectives which will allow us to see our works and their evolution more clearly. From the drafting of a group mission statement to the collecting of works for a final critique, this five-plus day intensive will be filled with challenging activities designed to increase our technical knowledge, broaden the scope of our vision, and empower our creative inspiration as we produce exciting new works. April 19 & 21, 2007 HURON, OH - THE OHIO WATERCOLOR SOCIETY'S NATIONAL CREATIVITY SEMINAR VI: STRETCHING BOUNDARIES FOR CREATIVE PEOPLE: COLLAGE TECHNIQUES & CREATIVE EXPLORATION / Join us at the beautiful Sawmill Creek Lodge and Resort (nestled in the woods on a point jutting out into Lake Erie, see photo at left) for the Ohio Watercolor Society's National Creativity Seminar VI: Stretching Boundaries for Creative People from April 18th-21st.   JONATHAN TALBOT: A BRIEF BIOGRAPHY:

Works by Jonathan Talbot have been exhibited at The National Academy and The Museum of Modern Art in New York, have represented the U.S. overseas in exhibitions sponsored by the State Department and the Smithsonian Institution, and are included in museum collections in the U.S. and Europe. Talbot was awarded a career achievement medal at the Florence Biennial in Florence, Italy in 2001. He maintains his studio in Warwick, NY where he lives with his wife Marsha. They are the parents of two children: a daughter, Loren, and a son, Garret.
