5 DAY COLLAGE INTENSIVE: COLLAGE TECHNIQUES
& CREATIVE EXPLORATION / As part of the 2nd session of the
spring 2007 Springmaid Watermedia Workshops program, I will be presenting
a five-day workshop. Participants in six simultaneous
workshops in a variety of media dine, socialize, and learn
from one another at the luxurious
oceanfront Springmaid Beach Resort. During this workshop we will create
an intentional artistic community in which we will all learn from one another.
As we explore composition and refine our personal visual vocabularies we
will reflect on past successes and failures, revise our individual goals,
and make concrete and specific plans for future projects. /////
Together we will discover new perspectives which will allow us to see our
works and their evolution more clearly. From the drafting of a group mission
statement to the collecting of works for a final critique, this five-plus
day intensive will be filled with challenging activities designed to increase
our technical knowledge, broaden the scope of our vision, and empower our
creative inspiration as we produce exciting new works. By examining our
responses to a variety of mediums we will find new insights into our individual

NATIONAL CREATIVITY SEMINAR VI: STRETCHING BOUNDARIES FOR CREATIVE PEOPLE:
COLLAGE TECHNIQUES & CREATIVE EXPLORATION
/ Join us at the beautiful Sawmill Creek Lodge and Resort (nestled
in the woods on a point jutting out into Lake Erie, see photo at left) for
the Ohio Watercolor Society's National Creativity Seminar VI: Stretching
Boundaries for Creative People from April 18th-21st. Participants
get the opportunity to dine together, socialize, learn from one another,
and also to attend up to three one-day workshops led by nationally-known
presenters. As part of this event I will be leading two separate (but more-or-less
the same) one-day Collage Techniques and Creative Exploration workshops
on Thursday and Saturday, the 19th and the 21st. /\/\/\/\
AS OF APRIL 2nd THERE ARE STILL A LIMITED NUMBER OF AVAILABLE SPACES

At the invitation of Lisa Ohmer, director
of the Artiscape artist's retreat, I will return to Artiscape to present
three workshops and an evening program. The
three-hour ACYLIC IMAGE TRANSFER workshop in Friday is already SOLD
OUT. The three hour COLLAGE: A NEW APPROACH workshop on
Saturday is also SOLD OUT. There are, as of March 30th, TWO
AVAILABLE SPACES in the five-hour
